Randstad Engineering is recruiting on behalf of our clients, who have been operating for over 50 years, family owned and operate out of London. The organization is looking for a full-time Shop Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:
•Preparing work schedules and handling service calls to ensure that equipment is available as required
•Responsible for ordering parts and supplies as needed while maintaining an organized equipment service record
•Manage the repair and maintenance of company pickup trucks and heavy equipment in addition to evaluating the repairs and safety checks
•Disposal of Solid and Hazardous Material Waste (Batteries, used oil & filters, antifreeze, wash sludge)
•Create, update, close and bill work orders
•Support the Superintendent and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
•Heavy Duty Mechanic License OR Journeyman License
•10 years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy equipment
•Previous excavator, bulldozer or other heavy equipment experience is required
•Strong experience scheduling, planning and managing teams
•Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
•Strong understanding of equipment and safety requirements
