Our client is looking for an action-oriented Short Term Disability Case Manager for their office in downtown Vancouver office.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing short term disability claims from intake to payment.

Responsibilities include:
- Provide resolution of short term disability claims
- Address escalated client concerns and develop case management plans to either facilitate a Return to Work program or a transition to a long term disability option
- Setting up new short term disability claims. This function will include contractual interpretation and accurate data entry
-Making decisions on claims using contractual, medical, functional and vocational analysis
-Constant prioritization of conflicting demands with extremely tight turn around times

Qualifications
- Disability Case Management/Rehabilitation/Return to work experience is a must
- Healthcare education is a must have for this role
- Strong analytical skills with a focused attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and decision making skills
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and conditions
- Able to work in a fast paced environment with numerous cases simultaneously
