The main function of the Content Editor is to be a 2nd set of eyes and proofread and edit employee facing materials on our client's Intranet site. (Including material on the Workday solution/integration into the enterprise). This includes and is not limited to reviewing process documentation, system navigation materials, etc. for style and correctness and in meeting HR specifications.

Job Responsibilities:
• The contractor will receive text from internal sources and rewrites documentation in a clear, personable and concise style. This will include reviewing all text, data and feedback from end users to help evaluate and enhance the value of all written material on and Me intranet) All in all, the contractor will be required edit content succinctly and clearly to technical and non-technical audiences alike as our client undergoes it technological transformation
• The contractor will be expected to improve editorial standards for all material and must be comfortable making recommendations on new designs, layouts and procedures as needed.
• Will edit, write and/or rewrites articles, publications, presentations, and other materials to communicate clearly and effectively research findings, workday developments, and other news and information to provide the end user with a more immersive and positive experience as typically found Google/Amazon/Apple

6 Month contract with long term potential

• Excellent writing and editing skills (spelling, grammar, punctuation, clarity, voice, style, tone), with a strong command of English and employee centric language.
• An Understanding of how generations read and interpret content as CIBC is moving away from formal business language to one that is more personable. The ideal candidate must be able to deliver this.
• High attention to detail
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with other members of the Workday team.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.

• Experience in written marketing

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Business Communications, Marketing or related field.

• 3-5 years related experience or in editing content.
• No workday experience required
• The manager wouldn’t mind reviewing candidates who come from smaller, innovative startup companies with relevant experience of course.
