Position: Supply Chain Analyst
Location: Downtown Montreal

The Supply Chain Analyst supports the analytical activities required to implement category management strategies and strategic activities related to vendor selection. He oversees the delivery of key contracts and realizes financial savings by negotiating contract terms and managing end-to-end supplier performance.

Responsibilities of the Analyst :

• Implement category management strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to planning and forecasting activities.
• Evaluate new market entrants and non-traditional suppliers.
• Conduct detailed category analyzes to understand market trends, cost drivers, suppliers and best practices.
• Provide data to create value propositions and sourcing options by taking advantage of various techniques.
• Develop and recommend business and contractual strategies.
• Support the supplier selection process.
• Support the performance of suppliers by boosting the overall contractual value Ensure that the terms of the contract are respected by the suppliers,
• Provide coaching to commercial contract managers to increase contract performance and compliance.
• Work with buyers to ensure rates and agreements are applied appropriately.

Your profile as a Supply Chain Analyst:

• University degree in engineering, business administration or related field
• Excellent ability with Excel and Access
• Excellent ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Bilingualism (French and English)
• Ability to work effectively and productively within a team.
• Thorough understanding of the contract structure, terms and performance of suppliers.
