Our client is an innovative and exciting start-up that is looking to add a Talent Acquisition Specialist to their growing team. You will be successful in this role if you enjoy working directly with business owners, thrive in a flexible environment and are highly motivated by building from the ground up!

What you’ll be doing:
• Implement innovative and engaging strategies to attract top talent to the company
• Manage the full cycle recruitment process: Job postings, screen resumes, conduct phone and face-to-face interviews, coordinate interviews with hiring managers, make recommendations about candidates, salary recommendations, conduct references and background checks, prepare offer packages, extend job offers, assist with on-boarding.
• Build out the full employee life cycle program, from attraction, to interview process to onboarding and eventually succession planning.
• Discuss and learn more about new developments within employment legislation, HR practices and general industry trends.
• Other Recruitment Activities: Workforce planning, build and maintain a pipeline of candidates to ensure recruitment needs are met, develop job descriptions, research compensation bands

Do you have the right qualifications?
• 5 years+ of relevant work experience in recruitment
• MUST have a passion for Talent Acquisition
• Experience recruiting C-Suite talent is a strong asset

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational skills; exceptional attention to detail and follow through
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision
• Strong Microsoft Office skills primarily with Word and Excel
