What you’ll be doing:
Day to day coaching and mentoring of assigned Testing staff.
Understand PTC and Locomotive Architecture in order to develop Specifications on technical Design aspects (Hardware & Software integration).
Analyze, Design and develop Solutions for Locomotive on board Telecom and Monitoring platforms
Design and propose enhancements and modifications to the architecture of information security controls for the PTC remote devices
Initiated OT Monitoring and System Management practices, products and integration for the LOBS.
Documentation of complex concepts such as security models and technical decisions
When called upon, will be required to work with FRA and personnel in the various regulatory inspections and tests to qualify for PTC operations
Establish Configuration changes and firmware upgrades procedures.
Troubleshooting, monitoring, performance and tuning of all PTC software in our Locomotives
Identify Telecom and Security deployment plan tasks to match Mechanical deployment.
Engage with locomotive systems manufacturers and third party developers to steer and direct integration procedures and development for use in the locomotive fleet.
Ensure compliance with and oversee development and execution of testing strategies, test plans, and test procedures to validate that the system correctly implements the specifications.

Do you have the right qualifications?
5-10 years of experience in IT
Individual involve in test execution of code and data drops
Individual assist in defect triage meetings
Individual has to be Senior Technical Integrator to assist test team
Individual should review the test cases and give the feedback
Individual should review & assist giving the priority and severity of the defect and assigned it to right stakeholder
Individual should make sure to close the fixed defect by performing various combination of scenarios
Individual should assist in defect triage with the business
Individual should participate in all the technical meetings and coach the team accordingly
Individual should present sessions to the test team for all the new technical and applications changes to be more efficient
Individual should involve in integration testing and participate in positive and negative scenario building

Mandatory skills:

• 5 years experience as a tester.
• Exposure to the various parts of the product development V-model life-cycle, including traceability management.
• Experience with embedded systems.
• Experienced in testing and traceability, for a complex distributed application and infrastructure environment.
• Exposure to hardware and software integration, firmware, and application and telecommunication configuration management.
• Experience with complex applications and IT solution integration using 3rd party products.
• Experience with Black Box Testing

Assets are :
• Knowledge of ALM Tools
