We are looking for a Technical Systems Integrator - PTC-Senior

Role description:
The Technical Integrator has accountability to ensure on-board systems meet PTC Regulatory and future Locomotive technology requirements. He/she ensures that documentation standards are created and maintained, and project timelines, milestones, and stakeholder updates are delivered. Additional responsibilities include documenting and supporting rail PTC (Positive Train Control) and other Run-time on-board Locomotives, including Locomotive Electronics management systems.

Summary of tasks:
Understand PTC and Locomotive Architecture in order to develop Specifications on technical Design aspects (Hardware & Software integration).
Analyze Solutions for Locomotive on board Telecom and Monitoring platforms
Documentation of complex concepts such as security models and technical decisions
When called upon, will be required to work with FRA and personnel in the various regulatory inspections and tests to qualify for PTC operations
Establish Configuration changes and firmware upgrades procedures.
Engage with locomotive systems manufacturers and third party developers to steer and direct integration procedures and development for use in the locomotive fleet..

Mandatory skills:
10 years of experience in IT
Experience in railway domain or very good understanding of it
High proficiency in English (verbal and written) - No need to be bilingual
Stakeholder management experience, strong business acumen, technology savvy, strong analytical and problem solving skills, strong facilitation skills.
Leadership, organized, proactive, self-motivitating, independent
