As a Tool Management Technician within this rewarding role, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
- Review production schedule for the following shifts (using excel of SAP)
- Review jobs and tool lists (print out or excel file)
- Use tool sharpener
- Pick-up length and diameter offsets
- Adjust length and diameter offsets
- Supply tooling to the work stations
- Set-up tools on CNC machines and/or tool hives
- Examine tools before, during, and after use
- Condition/repair cutting tools
- Inspect, set-up, and adjust CNC part-holding fixtures
- Receive, inspect, and measure new tools
- Examine tool geometry and analyze tool failures
- Experience with MIG welding is an asset

- Experience as a Tooling Technician and/or Tool Maintenance Technician
- Experience with cutting tools including: drills, reamers, end mills, face mills, taps
- Experience in a metal working environment and conventional machining equipment
- Knowledge of tool sharpening techniques
- Must be able to use basic measuring instruments; such as callipers, micrometers and bore gauges
- Good written and spoken communication skills required
