Do you have operations management experience in the food industry? Our growing client in the Brantford area has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for a Warehouse Operations Manager to join their team!

As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you would be responsible for planning, coordinating and directing warehouse storage and distribution operations.

Specific responsibilities would include:
• Achieves warehouse operational objectives by contributing warehouse operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends.
• Manages warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
• Manages warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems; evaluating and recommending new equipment.
• Manages warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing process work flow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout; implementing changes.
• Manages the daily activities of staff.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

As a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements:
• 5+ years of management experience
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing/warehouse environment
• Strong scheduling background
• Post secondary education in related field
