Our client is looking to hire a Website/Marketing Manager


SUMMARY:
To prepare content for, and update the Client's website while identifying new media and content opportunities. Create and execute online marketing campaigns through email, social media and various other channels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Website
• Prepare and distribute web update memos, including memos to staff for seasonal or event promotions
• Coordinate creative for Home, Theme Box (with links) and Category page layouts
• Ensure consistency across channels (digital items match home page)
• Coordinate creative for special promotions or seasonal promotions
• Familiarity with products (new and discontinued), along with general details
• Proactively prepare work back plan for seasonal website updates (3 month prior)
• Ensure website is CASL compliant
• Produce reports regarding the performance/activity on the websites

Digital Marketing
• Plan, create, coordinate and execute (manage) email outreach
• Keep customer acquisition in line with CASL laws in Canada & regulations in other regions
• Plan, create, coordinate and execute online marketing campaigns (campaign digital assets)
• Liaise with outside contractors to identify and follow up on online opportunities
• Monitor web content related to the client's brand – ensure consistent with digital campaign
• Identify new social media opportunities (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Instagram), and maintain these activities
• Update social media platforms (content and promotions), and respond to comments made by customers on these platforms
• Identify & follow up on social media PR & outreach opportunities – seeding and blogging
• Create/collect/upload new media content.
• Coordinate translation of appropriate content into French language
• Maintain up to date knowledge on the changes/innovations surrounding new media with both self-directed education and the participation in formalized learning opportunities.
• Manage affiliates’ promotional calendar, identify opportunities, analyse reports, etc.
• Digital creative management: based upon the marketing schedule of when assets are required and in what format, communicate to the relevant team members, and allowing them to manage deliverables.
• Develop customer portraits and journeys to reveal emerging needs.
• Maximise and manage digital marketing budget.


Other

• General assistance in Marketing department with day to day needs i.e. colour correction, PR giveaways, overall campaign ideas, copywriting, proofreading etc.
• Manage the Ambassador Influencer Program (celebrity endorsement)


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
2 year Diploma or Certificate from a college or technical Institute in Digital Marketing;
Minimum of 3 years experience in a Website or Social Media Marketing role;
Solid English language skills are essential.
Accounting/budgeting experience and asset.
Strong interpersonal, communication skills and teamwork.
Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, Photoshop, and website maintenance.
Ability to meet tight deadlines in a stressful, high paced work environment.
