Randstad is currently hiring for welders for a VIP client over at Weston and Highway 7 facility.

Day Shift
$19.52

Afternoon Shift:
2pm to 10pm + overtime
$19.52 + .50 afternoon shift premium

Midnight Shift: 10pm to 6am + overtime
$19.52 + $1.00 midnight shift premium

Functions of this role:
•Operate MIG Welder manually to product parts/perform other duties according to specific job instructions
•Follow work instructions and verbal directions to meet targeted production quotas
•Able to communicate any equipment and tooling issues in a timely manner
•Ensure that only quality parts are passed on the next operation, report any issues to supervisor
•Complete all necessary documentation (production reports, quality alerts etc) correctly ad in a timely manner
•Quantitative Measurable: 100% efficiency of production, 0% quality issues and 2 Continuous Improvements per year

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Safety training
Must be able to read and write in English
Minimum 3 years experience in a production environment, as a Welder
MIG Weld Certificate
Ability to follow standardized work instructions
Able to operate air tools i.e chisels and guns
Must be able to lift up 35lbs; work with push pull forces up to 50LBS or less
