Are you a MIG welder looking to work in an incredibly stable business with no history of layoffs? If you have experience as a MIG Welder and live close to Brantford, then we may have your next career opportunity. This permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who has 2-3 years of experience under their belt

In this role you will be:

- performing MIG welding tasks 80% of the time
- working from blueprints
- working as a part of a large team
- helping out in other departments if you are ahead of your work schedule
- working at a moderate to fast pace (the day will fly by!)
- interacting with all levels of the organization
- operating polishing/grinding equipment
- conducting tests to verify weld quality and ensuring the welds are within tolerance
- lifting up to 50lbs
- operating an overhead crane
- operating cutting equipment

- 20.77/hr to start, with regularly scheduled increased during your first year
- 100% coverage for prescriptions and vision
- no vacation blackout periods
- production bonus
- willing to take on more junior candidates and train them for the role
- weekly pay
- on a bus route in Brantford, weekly rotation between days and afternoons (7 am - 3 pm & 3 pm to 11 pm, Monday to Friday)
- overtime paid after working 40 hours in a week

- 2-3 years of MIG welding experience
- able to read and interpret blueprints
- proven history of strong attendance
- 2-3 years of previous MIG welding experience
- able to lift up to 50 lbs
- previous experience operating overhead cranes is ideal
- completion of either your GED or High School Diploma
- trade school is an advantage, but not required
- live within a 30-minute commute of Brantford
