TIG Welder/Assembler – Ottawa West - Permanent Opportunity

Competencies of a TIG Welder/Assembler
• Able to concentrate on detailed work for long period
• Initiative and result focused
• Good vision and hand-eye coordination

• Quality

• Salary: $21 -25$/hr.
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm
• Overtime on Saturdays once every 6 weeks might be required
• Working with a great team
• Ability to learn and develop new welding skills
• Opportunity to work on several projects
• Great advantage program

• GTAW, GMAW, SMAW experience
• CWB certification an asset
• Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum
• Ability to plan and think in steps and visualize three-dimensionally
• Make jigs and fixtures to achieve drawing requirements Knowledge of metals, relevant product codes, regulations and laws
• Measurement and quality control practices
• Knowledge and experience on conventional machine shop equipment is an asset
