Global deployment manager - cross program
your typical day includes
As a deployment manager you are part of the cross program team of implementation and change management specialists. You will report to the cross program leadership team and the cross program implementation manager. The key responsibility is to serve as the primary point of contact between the central program teams and the local deployment manager(s) and team(s). You are working together with the local deployment manager(s), basically a 1-1 with that person. You are responsible for the link between the market/country and the global programs, sharing insights, feedback and concerns in both directions. This is a two-way role. From the market/country perspective you are the single point of contact for the various programs, relevant for the deployment. From the global perspective you guide the OPCO with the runbook(s) and also enforce this standard way of working. You oversee the progress of implementation and change management, closely monitoring milestones. Using the status updates you proactively identify (potential) bottlenecks or issues and work with the relevant people and teams to address them properly.
You establish and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders at both the country level and within the central teams. You ensure strong communication and collaboration channels to support a reliable go live in the market/country.
In preparation of and during the deployment of the programs you will frequently be onsite in the market/country you work for. This does not mean it is a permanent in-market/country job, but you do visit frequently, certainly at important milestones. You are the intermediate between all workstreams local and all workstreams in all contributing programs global. That means you need to understand the full package of implementation: change management and implementation for the collective cross-program scope of strategy, organization, process and technology. This includes communication, data migration, IT-streams. It is not your job to be a single point of failure, we have specialists talk to/with specialists. We assume communication and escalation processes to be put in place, but you will be the go to person in case they fall short or when people need extra help to get things done or get issues mitigated.
You play a role in the local and in the global governance. You are part of the deployment management group, the governing body in the market/country.
your responsibilities include

you work closely with the local deployment manager and local team to drive the deployment of the programs into the OPCO
you use the global runbooks and play a role in updating and improving the runbooks
you are part of the global deployment team
you provide feedback to the OPCO and potentially escalate when an OPCO steps out of the standard approach
stakeholder management towards both global and local organization with specific focus on the local teams
you are the bridge between the locals needs and the global strategies, create explicit process to decide. Attention for the local IT (integration) work in this role is needed
your background
master degree preferable in business or equivalent experience
preferable a minimum of 8 years of business experience in HR services, preferably in Randstad (staffing, inhouse or professionals concepts)
proven successful in deployment or managing teams through major changes or transformation programs
experience leading cross-functional and cross-cultural projects
solid understanding of current technologies
Prosci certification is a pro
skills and knowledge
demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
ability to self-motivate, set goals and meet deadlines.
comprehensive business understanding of Randstad or other staffing/related industries.
Proven experience in product deployment, with a focus on Salesforce implementation.
Hands-on experience with on-site deployment in various countries.
exceptional interpersonal skills. capability to manage and work together with different stakeholders to grow large alliances and networks in order to speed up global digital transformation.
digital translator, able to talk tech, concepts, business processes and operations.
