Monday to Friday
Afternoon shift - 4:30pm - 11:30pm
$28-32/hr

Responsibilities
Design and deliver parts in a timely manner
Plan machining and packaging
Analyze part drawings and recommend best practices
Compute dimensions and tolerances
Program AND operate variety of machine tools including CNC to perform precision machining operations
Set up and supervise operators on the manual lathe
Able to load feed mechanism by positioning, securing metal stock, or casting
Inspect/test completed tools (jigs or fixtures)
Verifies settings by measuring positions to prescribed standards
Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting
Ability to detect malfunctions; troubleshooting, reprogramming controls
Develop and implement inspections, adhere to health and safety practices
Maintain all equipment and conduct preventive maintenance
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years as CNC Machinist/Programmer
Consistently meet performance standards
Ability to identify cutting issues/tool wear issues
Excellent communication and organizational skills
