- Constantly and proactively initiate customer engagements and business development activities that aim to promote and intensify relationships at various levels which is fundamental in the achieving the goals set forth by the CNS Leadership- Lead and guide a team of Core Presales located in Japan in all business development activities leveraging on each individual’s talents, skills and competencies - Provide all the necessary technical presales support to the Japan Market Unit to meet the order intake, revenue and sales margin targets- Develop key strategies and deliver programs that would generate sales pipeline imperative to sustain business growth- Lead customer facing technical engagements, understanding customer business, technical and operational paint points, requirements and KPI’s (use cases, integration points, etc.) and provide subject matter expertise on complex cross-domain solutions - Develop deep understanding of key technology trends (standards, industry events, etc.) necessary in the customer discussions- Lead discussions on technical requirements and gaps with Product Line Management to ensure customer commitments can be met, during pre-sales engagements and to ensure products and services roadmap align with customers’ mid to long-term needs
求められる経験
- At least 15 years of work experience in the telecommunications domain particularly on the core network for 4G/5G Packet Core, IMS/VoLTE and SDM
- Native level in Japanese (or equivalent) and business proficient in English
- Technical knowledge of telco networks (Fixed & Mobile, IMS, Cloud networks) and protocols
- Degree holder of any of these sciences/fields: Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering
- Ability to discuss detailed technical issues with customers and management
- Moderate to high competence in English verbal and written communication skills required. Strong interpersonal capabilities
- Creative ‘out of the box’ thinker
- Exceptional work ethic, the ability to work independently, self-motivated, driven and a strong desire to succeed
