Location: WFH & South YarraContract Duration: 6 Months Fixed Term Full time hoursHours- $102,000 - $112,000 plus super (Annualised) About the role:The role of Business Development Lead is a key role within the Finance and Planning team. It is responsible for the identification, development and implementation of sustainable corporate partnerships for the business, including achieving related financial and engagement targets. Your profile will demonstrate: Develop and lead the implementation of sustainable corporate partnerships that serve the needs of existing and new projects, and to reach agreed financial and engagement revenue targetsLead the development of a partnership pipeline, considering revenue targets, prospect segments, corporate need and new trends in philanthropy, such as Social Impact Investment and Shared Value, while maintaining a suitable ROI in terms of effort vs rewardManage the commercial leases, licenses and permits for the clients property, sites and buildings, including reviewing new and existing contracts and agreements in line with legislative changes or organisational requirements.Manage the design and implementation of long-term plans, priorities and strategies relating to tenant management.Lead and manage the Leasing Administrator to ensure strong and mutually beneficial relationships are built with all on-site tenantsOversee and where necessary, manage issues raised by lessees, licensees and permittees.Leverage the expertise and knowledge of the business to build stories, establish funding need and create a suite of projects/programs/products to fund.Work with the Campaigns and Marketing Lead to create compelling collateral and pitch decks that demonstrate the case for support while delivering on partner need.Use subject matter expertise to advise and influence internal stakeholders on the development and stewardship of corporate partnerships.In consultation with the Chief Finance Officer, develop a segmentation and prioritisation framework for the effective targeting and management of prospects and partnerships that deliver an appropriate return on investmentWith assistance from the role’s direct reports, maintain good knowledge management practices by ensuring all prospect and partnership information and tenant communications are recorded in the clients database.Experience / KnowledgeFive+ years of experience in developing B2B relationships with the corporate sectorDemonstrated ability to achieve annual Corporate Partnership income targetsDemonstrated experience and qualities in building strong internal and external relationships, especially with key Corporate segment stakeholdersSound knowledge of fundraising legislation and practicesExcellent knowledge and experience of the Australian corporate philanthropic giving environment and related areas such as Corporate Social Responsibility, Shared Value and Impact InvestmentDemonstrated experience in managing and negotiating contracts or agreements in a commercial space.Experience in needs based segmentation and product development within the corporate partnership and/or B2B environmentExcellent understanding of the key success factors in the pitch process Sounds Like you!
