Position: Deputy SENDCO
Salary: £30473 - £48621
Randstad are working on behalf of a wonderful school situated in Liverpool to support their recruitment for a Deputy SENDCO. This will be a permanent position paid to scale (with additional team leader pay) and the start date is either September 2022 or ASAP.
The School wishes to appoint a passionate practitioner to assist in managing the provision for pupils identified as having Special Educational Needs (SEN); including promoting high quality teaching, effective use of resources, and high standards of learning and achievement for all pupils.
Ideal candidate:
- A degree qualification or relevant qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status
- SENDCO qualification / working towards / willing to undertake SEN qualifications
- Evidence of relevant CPD, including Safeguarding
- Experience of teaching SEND students
- Ability to write clear and concise EHCP's, Reports, Plans and Strategies
- Knowledge of classroom organisation and learning strategies
- Knowledge and understanding of SEN strategies and Code of Practice
- Ability to enhance teaching and learning through the creative use of ICT
- A strong commitment to inclusion and overcoming barriers to learning and achievement
- Highest level of professionalism and personal integrity
