Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Dispatcher are:
- Answer incoming calls, handle customer requests
- Enter customer orders into the computer system
- Determine the needs and availability of driver-truck-trailer resources to make the trip
- Plan driver schedules to maximize their utilization while respecting driving hours and rest regulations
- Follow up with drivers and inform customers
- Complete trips in the system with all necessary information
- Find trips to optimize the profitability of the equipment and find transportation to meet our customers' needs when there is a lack of capacity
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Other duties and support as needed
Qualifications
Profile sought:
- Experience in the long distance transportation industry usa;
- Experience in the specialized over-dimensional transportation industry;(AN ASSET)
- Geographic knowledge of Canada and the United States;
- Focus on customer service
- French and English spoken and written;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time
- Knowledge of TWM (TruckMate an Asset).

- Respectful;
- Honest and straightforward.
