    We are looking for a great Dispatcher/Service Coordinator to become part of a great team in Nepean. In this role, you’ll be a very important part of the day-to-day operation of the company. You’ll need to be able to think on your feet, remain cool-headed in a crisis, and juggle multiple priorities seamlessly. You’ll be spending your time dealing with drivers and customers and will be arranging and following up on service calls. Specific experience with dispatching is ideal, particularly in a trades environment (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical etc)

    Advantages

    Responsibilities
    -Monitors and tracks progress of drivers, using a 2-way radio, throughout the work day in order to ensure timely completion of assigned routes
    -Assigns commercial pickups to appropriate waste collection routes
    -Updates and maintains all assigned line of business routes in TRUX system
    -Prints and disperses route sheets to drivers as needed
    -Service as a single point of contact for all internal and external customers
    -Respond to customer inquiries – via phone and email and resolve customer billing problems through account corrections 
    -Liaise with internal teams to determine service requirements, resolve problems or complaints

    Qualifications
    Bilingualism (English/French) would be an asset
    2-3 years of customer service/office experience
    2-3 years of dispatch experience preferred
    Pleasant demeanor over the phone and emails 
    Excellent time management and prioritization skills 
    Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, TRUX 
    Strong written and oral communication skills - Bilingualism in English and French will be considered a strong Asset
    Critical and logical thinking skills
