    Randstad are looking for a Communication Support Worker to provide support to a student who has started at the University of Dundee this year. The student is non-verbal and uses eye gazing technology to prepare their work and to speak. The role will mainly involve supporting the student with their Assistive Technology and will require some training and adapting to new technology with the support of the student's academic school department. As a Communication support worker you will support the student's communication, enabling them to participate effectively in seminars, group work and workshops, and add vocabulary to their communication aid. The student will require up to 12 hours of support per week for the academic year.The student attends the University of Dundee, but is currently accessing their degree remotely. Support will be remote for the majority of the student's first academic year, but the student hopes to move to campus for subsequent years and will then require some face to face support. Ideally the Communication Support Worker will be a commutable distance from Dundee. The student is non-verbal and uses eye gazing technology to prepare their work and to speak.
