    Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

    Location: Dartford, Kent

    Salary: Circa £45,000 basic

    Shifts: 4 on 4 off (Alternating days and nights)

    Benefits: Overtime Available at time and a half + Enhanced Benefits Package + Yearly Bonus + 10% Pensions

    The Company:

    This industry is a leading, extremely reputable FMCG manufacturing company is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer to join their Dartford Site on a full time, permanent basis.

    This nationally recognised industry manufacturer is well known for the benefits, training, support provided, and opportunities for progression and development. However, what is really special about this site is the friendly and supportive team and the family-style atmosphere. Strong teamwork and the plant environment is very important to them and most importantly everyone is treated equally and with respect.

    The Candidate:

    The ideal candidate would be a competent electrically biassed maintenance engineer comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Therefore a high attention to detail and a strong understanding on electrical fault finding and installation is imperative.

    You will be responsible for the planned and preventive maintenance of the site within line with set timeframes, hygiene and quality control procedures. You should be familiar with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, three phases motors, PLC systems and automatic conveyors and enjoy a hands-on approach to work.

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience working as an electrical maintenance engineer.
    • Enthusiastic, approachable and a can do attitude to work.
    • Strong PLC knowledge.
    • Competent fault finding and repairing on a range of equipment.
    • Onsite apprenticeship training or level 3 qualification (HNC, NVQ or City and Guilds) in either electrical installations/engineering.
    • 17th/18th Edition
