Introduction:
Are you an experienced English Teacher looking for a full-time permanent position starting in September 2023? Look no further! We are currently recruiting for a talented English Teacher to join our fantastic educational trust located in the Downham Market area. We welcome both NQTs and highly experienced teachers to apply.
Responsibilities:
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons, monitoring and assessing student progression, planning and delivering GCSE English courses, supporting the development of the Education Programme, and facilitating all aspects of the adult education plan. You will also track and report on student progression in accordance with set educational targets and attend training courses in line with the school development plan.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) and a Teaching Qualification (PGCE and relevant English degree). You must have a strong knowledge of the English curriculum, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and knowledge of strategies for raising standards in the classroom. You should be able to work on your own initiative, plan and manage your workload, and set and meet targets and deadlines. Additionally, you should be able to liaise and negotiate sensitively, tactfully, and diplomatically at all levels.
