job description

The role involves the following key responsibilities:
¿ The provision of user equipment support and maintenance
¿ Acting as a first point of contact for all user queries relating to desktop PC's, laptops, smartphones and business-related software.
¿ Acting as a first point of contact for all queries relating to printers, scanning and related tasks.
¿ Dealing with asset management tasks (i.e., in relation to desktops, laptops, printers and other peripheral devices)
¿ Providing IT and audiovisual equipment support for on and off-site meetings and events
¿ Supplying business desktop software support
¿ Providing support in relation to document production issues
¿ Providing advice and assistance in relation to the use of CCAnywhere and other secure remote access to office systems.
¿ Assisting with the delivery and maintenance of shared pools of IT devices (e.g., laptops, mobile telephones etc.)
¿ Recording incidents, problems, requests for assistance using a mandatory global incident management tool (currently Remedy)
¿ Providing assistance to the telephony group of the Technology global team
¿ Providing support in relation to mobile and fixed telephone peripherals
¿ Providing training on IT applications, if required
¿ Providing out-of-hours help desk support to users on a rotating basis (with other members of the Technology Department), either remotely or, when necessary, on site
