As an Estimator, you will take ownership of the tender process from site inspections through to operational handover. Working closely with project managers and stakeholders, you will ensure accurate and competitive tender submissions, while maintaining a strong focus on risk analysis, cost efficiency, and safety standards. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in the Infrastructure or Civil Construction industry, particularly in estimating remediation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the tender process from site inspection to operational handover.
• Develop work breakdown activities, cost rates for skilled labour, and trade activities.
• Analyse tender documents, scope of works, and contractual requirements.
• Identify and measure risks for each tender, ensuring accurate projections.
• Prepare and compile all required client returnable documentation.
• Provide input into the project planning process to ensure efficient lead times.
• Actively seek tendering opportunities and build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure all tender submissions comply with internal standards and relevant industry requirements.

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven experience as an Estimator within the Infrastructure or Civil Construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of estimating remediation projects and preparing project documentation.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to analyse risks and develop competitive, accurate tenders.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Knowledge of Australian industry standards and best practices.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-focused approach.
