Job Title: Estimator / Senior Estimator

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and equipment.
- Review and analyse project specifications, drawings, and contracts to provide accurate and competitive estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop cost-effective solutions.
- Source and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and bid submissions.
- Monitor project budgets and provide regular cost reporting to ensure financial control.
- Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings, as required.
Requirements:
- Ideally experience with Groundwork and Frames contractors
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and costs.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in using estimating software
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Relevant qualifications in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (desirable)
