The Strategic Youth Development Advisor will serve as a technical resource person to support in developing and strengthening relevant structures/system, liaison, coordination of the relevant ministries and organizations in implementing youth development, equal opportunities, and ensuring accessibility of quality access to livelihood and youth empowerment.

Allowance and accommodation All volunteers have an allowance paid in local currency. The allowance meets reasonable living expenses in country, but will not be enough to send money home. VSO works with some of the poorest communities in the world which means accommodation varies and will be basic.


You have a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Social Sciences, International Development, or the equivalent degree. A master's degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years experience in the management and coordination of Youth Development, volunteer management, and inclusion Experience working with the government, NGOs, and civil society organizations Experience in developing, designing, and implementing activities(including capacity building and strengthening activities); developing training materials ; delivering and facilitating trainings; Proven experiences in developing systems and procedures, Advisory, communication, networking, Coaching and mentoring skills;
