    Strong knowledge of wireless (3G/LTE/5G) radio networks, IP and transmission backhaul networks.

    • Proficient in troubleshooting wireless network faults

    • 3-5 years of field experience in O&M environment

    • Valid non-provisional full Ontario-issued driver’s license with clean record

    • Working experience on Nokia Radio and Transmission network preferred

    • Support the technical contractor during installation, commissioning and integration until the on-air status.

    • Review and confirm RAN network Scope of Work for implementation on new-builds and upgrades on production sites. This includes macro sites, small cells and in-building/DAS.

    • Coordinate with various groups within FREEDOM Mobile including Wireless Core and RAN network, technical PMO, Rollout, OSS, Real Estate, Transmission Engineering, IP Backhaul Engineering & RF Engineering teams.

    • Perform site acceptance based on approved internal construction standards.

    • Prepare deficiency reports for cleanup and rectification.

    • Verify physical site configuration for equipment addition/upgrade.

    • Support on-site troubleshooting as required.

    • Flexible to support during day and night on project activities.

    • Require some lifting of site equipment.

    Qualifications:

    Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Technician

    3-5 years of field experience.
