In this role as a Dewatering Field Service Technician you would assist in the application of hydro-seeding, straw placement and other erosion control applications. You will be assisting in the set-up and maintenance of dewatering systems and general maintenance of the equipment. You will get the chance to operate large vehicles with air brakes and trailers in the company yard and in the field (Class 3 with Air - its an asset). You will have use of a company vehicle and would be entrusted with your own time-management and get to travel throughout your day. We are looking for someone to observe and follow all safety protocols in addition to utilizing personal protective equipment

Shift: Monday-Friday
Day Shift: 8am-4pm (no weekends required)
Area: Abbotsford, BC
Wage: $27.00-29.00/hr (depending on experience)
You have your own vehicle and full license (This is not a Transit accessible location)
You are legally permitted to work Fulltime in British Columbia

Responsibilities
-Assist in the application of hydro-seed, straw placement and other erosion control applications
-Able to keep up with sometimes physically demanding days
-Assist in the set-up and maintenance of dewatering systems
-Operation of vehicles (with trailers) in the company yard and in the field
-Observe and follow safety protocols in addition to utilizing personal protective equipment
-Operate a skid steer, mini excavator an asset
-You will be on the road most of the time and some sites
-Class 3 DL is preferred
Qualifications
-Class 5 driver's license required (heavy haul endorsement an asset)
-Able to operate skid steer, mini excavator an asset
-Ability to lift 50-75lbs (can be a high physical demand)
-Mechanical/technical aptitude
-High school Diploma or GED or equivalent
-Ability to work outdoors in wet, or dusty, or hot, or muddy conditions.
-Would need to have your own transportation
-Open to some administrative tasks
