    Job: Fire Risk Assessor

    Location: North London

    Salary/Benefits: £35-50,000

    An exciting oppotunity has arisen at one of the UKs leading Fire and H&S consultancies who are looking to further expand their team due to some new exciting project wins which has lead to a large acquisition of various gold standard clients.

    They are therefore looking to recruit an additional fire risk assessor to be based in North London; these projects will be focused on residential and commerical properties. Successful candidates should possess relvant experience carrying out fire risk assessments, obtain relevant fire safety qualifications and hold a desire to excel and progress within the fire industry.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Carry out suitable FRAs on a range of property types- concentrated mostly on commercial and residential
    • Provide additional fire safety services such as fire compartmentation surveys, fire door audits etc.
    • Actively engage in training and development programmes.
    • Deliver a good quality comprehensive FRA suitable for client needs
    • Flexibility with travelling to sites in order to fulfil clients requirements.

    Experience and skill required

    • 3+ years experience conducting fire risk assessments (preferably on residential or commerical buildings)
    • Outgoing individual with the ability to communicate effectively within a team
    • Minimum of a NEBOSH Fire Certificate (full) and another recognised fire qualification (CFPA, FPA)
    • Preferably experience conducting type 1 & 3 FRAs, experience with type 2 & 4 is preferable but not essential
    • Willing to undertake a DBS
    • Ideally registered on a risk register identified within the fire risk assessment competency council criteria
