Responsibilities
To develop, manage, and control the commercial finance function of one business unit (i.e. Controlling) with a primary focus on sales revenue, gross profit, expenses, capex, cash flow and balance sheet analysis. Support the business unit management in decision-making process and contribute to the achievement of the business unit objectives.
The position is responsible to run an efficient and effective commercial controlling which ensures a high performance and high quality in data analysis and planning.
The position is responsible for putting in place a pricing and costing model for the business unit and to ensure that the appropriate financial and commercial controls are in place and are in compliance with internal control requirements.
・Review and sign off of monthly sales and cost accrual, analyse and confirm result by customer as part of month end closing activities
・Ensure the proper implementation, analysis and review of pricing and re-pricing control
・Prepare investment modelling and profitability calculations of new and existing business
・Prepare accurate and timely monthly forecast and detailed yearly budget.
・Monthly analysis and explanations of actual figures, deviations to budget and forecast
・Supports the business units to ensure the achievement of cost reduction initiatives and annual budget targets
・Support and challenge operations management whilst ensuring financial integrity
・Ensure a proper cost control in operations as well as business unit overhead
・Regular reviews of site cost overhead and allocation to customer accounts
・Be an advisor for financial requests from operations and company management
・Present business unit result monthly to business unit management.
