As a accounts payable team leader in accounting at IMERYS your responsibilities will include:Use ERP to support the Purchase Ledger process dutiesReviewing systems, processes and controls to ensure optimum efficiency and security is maintainedEnsure Purchase Ledger monthly and year-end closing procedures are completed efficiently, accurately and timelyEnsure compliance with accounting principles, standards and SLAsEnsuring Service Level Agreements and KPI’s are managed and adhered toDevelop Purchase Ledger best practice processes, service measures, targets, goals and strategiesEnsuring that all relevant tax and statutory legislation is adhered toAssume responsibility for the quality, service levels and timeliness of the team’s workResponsible for the output of, and quality of services provided by the SSC AP and T&E team to key customers (who include Customers, Suppliers, Employees, Senior Management, Regulatory Bodies, etc.)Lead, plan and organise the team’s workPerform team processes including escalated and more complex/sensitive activitiesProvide ongoing performance management to teamCoach and advice teamRecognise and communicate potential issues/risks with teamMotivating, developing and coaching for maximisingrequirements
