One of our Clients leading Industrial Product Manufacturer. They are currently looking for Head Sales (Distribution Business) for Chennai.
- Formulate strategies for Distribution Business and deliver profitable growth.
- Drive Distributor Performance - Prepare and Deploy Annual Targets to each Distributor. Conduct regular and periodic review with major Distributors and Best Partners to assess the areas of concern and extend all possible support.
- Collect and collate competitor intelligence and market intelligence on a regular basis.
- Visit Key customer accounts with Distributor to develop business and build strong customer relationship.
- Grow business across all Sectors and Applications across India. Monitor Distributor business every quarter to ensure adequate market coverage is achieved and all sectors are represented.
- Work with Marketing to deploy digital marketing efforts to promote Distribution Business. Plan for Seminars and Road Shows for Key Sectors and Markets. Coordinate with the Marketing team to ensure the same is conducted.
- Work closely with Product Management and Application Engineering on new application and product solutions as per market needs.
- Participate in the Annual and Monthly Sales & Operations Planning for facilitating production planning and order forecasting.
- Be responsible for the cash flow and collection of outstanding payments from Distributors and Best Partners.
- Participate in quarterly audits as and when required and support.
- Ensure training program for Distributors are planned and carried periodically.
- Develop Knowledge Management initiatives for sharing of best practices, experiences and key learning from the Sales process, to encourage a culture of learning
Desired Candidates:BE & MBA with 15 to 20 years of experience in handling Dealer Sales / Channel Sales of Engineering Products and must have handled turnover of approximate 175- 200 Crores. Working on National Profile Pan India is preferred. Experience in Gearbox, Electric Motors, Pumps or similar product will be added advantage. ...
