Our client runs a busy thriving business operating in the Industrial and logistics sector. Due to an internal promotion we’re seeking someone from a project engineering / project management background who would like to step into this role.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is still fairly on in their career and would like to diversify and focus on OH&S. The ideal candidate may be a Junior Project Manager or Project Engineer at the moment. We’re looking for an articulate, process driven individual with a background in engineering and project management skills. You don’t have to be working as an OH&S advisor / manager currently but you will have an understanding of the regulations and legislations. Duties include carrying out training exercises, inductions, drug and alcohol tests, random inspections, audits and reports. You will enjoy working with people and have good negotiation and communication skills.
- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
- A degree in Safety, Science or Engineering
This is a great opportunity for a process driven individual with an for detail looking to step into a pure OH&S role. Applicants must have first class communication skills and will be required to pass a drug and alcohol test and national police check. The salary is negotiable depending on your skills and experience.
