Our client, a leading global professional services firm, has a newly created position for an enterprising and strategic minded Business Manager to support the front office in identifying and advancing opportunities. Ensuring the team is on track to meet business objectives.

Degree qualified with a minimum 5 years of relevant experience gained from reputable organizations, preferably financial or professional services firms, you will support and monitor front office activities through defined client engagement, product goals and KPIs in alignment with the firm’s strategy. You will put in place a system to streamline front office activities, improve overall efficiency and avoid duplications of efforts. You will conduct market and competitive analysis to help the business identify opportunities and create a roadmap to achieving them. Also work with divisional administrative staff to ensure the smooth operation of internal processes such as travel coordination, expense management, and invoice processing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, marketing, sales or finance. MBA Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including a professional and diplomatic demeanor and superior written, verbal, listening, and presentation skills required
  • Must demonstrate outstanding judgment and mature business problem solving skills with the ability to establish a strong rapport with senior management
  • Excellent analytical skills and expertise with MS Excel required. Demonstrated experience with Business Intelligence / analysis tools and using data to support decision making preferred
  • Good financial acumen with some previous experience in budget management required
  • Fluency in English required, knowledge of additional languages helpful. Global cultural orientation and working experience preferred
  • Demonstrable track record building strong, collaborative relationships and successfully influencing key stakeholders
  • Experience in project management and design thinking preferred
  • Ability to create new and unique ideas and an entrepreneurial spirit a plus
  • Ability to multi-task in an atmosphere of evolving priorities; able to effortlessly move from strategic thinking to handling tactical issues.
  • High level of organizational and time management skills; flexibility in competently juggling competing priorities and changing expectations
  • A self-starter and collaborative leader with high energy and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • International and domestic travel will be approximately 10% percent of the time or less.
