There is an immediate opening for an Installation Lead Hand / Field Service Supervisor!
Our client, a leader in Industrial HVAC / Air filtration, is looking to add an installation lead hand / supervisor to their team in Mississauga, Ontario.
This individual will be responsible for supervising a crew of installation labourers, while maintaining relationships with the customer base throughout the process.
The installation involves equipment such as fans, oil mist collectors, pipe systems, capture hoods, spark detection systems, electrical controls, etc.
This position is also responsible for managing work performed by sub contractors such as electricians, plumbers, etc.
This is a day shift position, with typical hours of work being from 8am-5pm

Responsibilities
Manage installation of air filtration equipment on customers site
Safely securing / storing and tracking materials on site
Directing on site labour to maximize efficiency, whilst managing own day to day activities in order to finish installations on time and within budget
Filing reports on expenses and job progress
Reporting to installation manager and/or project engineer on needs for materials and progress
Identifying problems with equipment and repair when possible, or informing responsible individual within division to take corrective action
Assisting in identification and resolution of problems with manufacturing of products
Coordinating customer complaints with appropriate departments in order to ensure problems are promptly and fairly resolved
Assuring any changes to orders or work outside of original scope are documented and customer approved prior to conducting said work
Ensuring health and safety practices are top priority
Qualifications
Desired but willing to train in:
Confined spaces
Lock out / tag out
Arial Lift - (Boom and platform)
Fall Harness
Working at heights
Must have mechanical background in installations
Preferred background in HVAC or Sheet Metal
