• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
• Provide help desk support or desk side support to employees
• Troubleshoot system and network problems to diagnose and solve hardware and software faults

• Support the roll-out of new applications
• Set up new users’ accounts and profiles which include dealing with password issues
• Respond within agreed time limits to attend call-outs from employees
• Troubleshoot issues until completion is achieved
• Prioritize and manage multiple open cases at once
• Assist in evaluation of notebooks, PCs, tablets, PDAs
• Assist in Backup Management
• Involve in software development activities for the business, such as gathering new and existing requirements, providing solutions or technical feedback, reviewing existing systems and functionalities, translating business needs into functional requirements to support software development work, designing and developing new functionality or improving existing features, supporting implementation and post implementation activities.
• Work closely with various business units to understand digital business needs.
• Any other administrative duties as and when assigned.

skills and experience required

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years of prior work experience in IT support
• Mandatory hands on experience in Microsoft Visual Studio programming
• Prior experience in other programming languages such as Java, JavaScript and PHP would be advantageous
• Ability to work well in a team and perform efficiently
• Ability to carry out allocated duties accurately without supervision
• Possess the willingness to learn new knowledge and skills
• Able to perform overtime as and when necessary
• Possess good communication skills to deal with all levels of management staff
• Posses a good sense of urgency and able to multitask
