Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:
Utilize your skills in Stick Welding (SMAW) and Mig Welding (GMAW) to execute precision repairs on conveyors within centrifuges, ensuring structural integrity and longevity.
Adhere to welding standards and specifications to ensure the highest quality work.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Work efficiently to minimize downtime by promptly identifying and addressing welding-related issues, allowing the equipment to return to optimal operational status.
Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including repair logs and materials used, to facilitate equipment maintenance and tracking of welding performance.
Collaborate effectively with team members and maintenance personnel to ensure seamless conveyor repair processes and contribute to a well-functioning production environment.
Qualifications
What you bring:
Must hold a journeyman welder ticket.
Proficiency in Stick Welding (SMAW) and Mig Welding (GMAW).
Availability to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Ability to provide your own steel-toed boots.
Welding masks and gloves are provided, but candidates may use their own if preferred.
Must pass pre-employment testing, including Drug and Alcohol testing, Fitness testing, and Mask fit testing.
