about the job
- Managing the cost and delivering expected profitability for the business
- Responsible for the overall performance of the company in terms of both operational & financial areas
- Proactively identify and communicate issues, propose and implement solutions for continuous improvement in regard to processes, cost, service, and profitability.
- Develop and implement an end-to-end Logistics strategy
- Derive and deliver budgets, setting a key performance goal for the team
- Stabilize the business in terms of top and bottom-line growth
- Support sales team and generating revenue for the company
- Maximize customer service levels and make continuous improvement
- Continuously improve the cost-effectiveness of logistics processes
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and company policies and procedures
skills & experience required
- Degree / Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a last mile delivery / export sales / Ecommerce order fulfillment environment
- Proven track record in delivering of sales revenue in the last mile delivery space
- Prior hands on with P&L for the business is a big plus
- Execellent stakeholder management
