    Learning Support Assistants REQUIRED AT VARIOUS SCHOOLS - BARKING & DAGENHAM

    I am actively recruiting EYFS, KS1 & KS2 Learning Support Assistants to work with our clients Primary Schools in the Barking & Dagenham borough.

    Learning Support Assistants bookings offers a flexible approach with the option to work on either a day-to-day supply or long-term basis once you are booked for your first shift, the majority of the time within my experience of recruitment these positions lead to permanent roles in the future or bookings for the whole academic year part time or full time.

    We are on the lookout for committed, dedicated and punctual whether your background is as a care worker, prison officer or some form of experience in security or experience within an mainstream environment would be a bonus but it isn't essential, you will be working in different schools or regularly booked into one specific school and must be able to provide them with outstanding service.

    The main attributes for Learning Support Assistants include:

    • Punctual checking bookings between 7am-9am and strong communication skills
    • Good supportive behaviour management
    • The ability to interact with pupils in a short period of time and production positive results
    • Ability to work in small groups and 1:1 interventions

    • You will some form of qualifications related to special needs or have some form of related experience

    • You will need to be flexible, enthusiastic and motivated to supporting pupils in lessons to a high standard
    • You will need to be able to manage behaviour effectively in the classroom
    • You will need to adhere to each school;s individual behaviour policies
