Basic Function:

Responsible to corporate finance, taxation, treasury, statutory Group reporting, budgeting and accounting related activities.



Job Description

  • Drive and co-ordinate the period-end closing activities. Ensure the accounts are recorded and reported on-time, with quality and in full compliance.
  • Review monthly reports, operating results, financial position and variance.
  • Drive and lead the financial budgets, forecasts and business planning.
  • Understand the country‚Äôs business requirements and ensure the Finance team fulfil their supporting obligation.
  • Finance business partnership with Country Managers, General Managers and Business Managers.
  • Identifies risks and opportunities and participates in growth initiatives and makes recommendations for improvement and optimization
  • Cash flow management, staff development and manage ad hoc special projects as required.
  • Partner with Finance Services and HQ FP&A teams to accurately report results and offer variance analysis to management
  • Facilitate external audit and tax work
  • Supervision of Business controllers

Desired Qualifications:


A high level of EXPERIENCE in RETAIL/FMCG/CONSUMER GOOD Industry

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance or other professional accounting qualification
  • 14+ years of relevant experience, including minimum 2 years in auditing
  • Confident and articulate, strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong people interaction skills; develops, motivates, fosters strong client relationships
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
  • Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
  • Experience gained in Big 4 audit firm.
  • Required Knowledge Knowledge of business operations, preferably within FMCG(Listed) sector.

  • Analytical, high attention to detail, problem solving and decision making skills to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations on business issues.
