The Company

Largest trade processing center in client group globally and offers operations to support client's trade, cash management and commercial cards businesses covering over 100 countries with a corresponding network of 3,300 banks.

The Role

This specific role is to coordinate APAC-wide training for client's customers, both for in country teams who provide training, as well as directly coordinating training out of the Penang hub. Additionally, the role is supporting the regional head in project management and coordination for Asia Pacific, assisting to build standard and strong governance approach and process for all Electronic Banking country team in APAC, to assist Regional Head in coordinating, proactively resolving issues and developing best practice.

Duties

  • Coordinate and when needed directly provide training to Client's customers
  • Responsible for implementation of strategic projects
  • Develop and maintain a customized project plan tailored to project requirements, outlining deliverables, milestones, critical path items and actions
  • Establish appropriate governance model and change process to ensure effective transition from project to production
  • Escalate project risks to the project sponsor and stakeholders, when appropriate
  • Closely manage the expectations of key stakeholders
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools, metrics, dashboard
  • Manage project communication and develop and execute plan to enhance interactive communications between key stakeholders
  • Plan and monitor training schedule and timelines
  • Prepare MIS reporting on training registration and participation status, progress, problems and solutions
  • Lead meetings and coordinate activities of the cross-organizational teams
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to department initiatives to implement process enhancements
  • Where required, assist Regional Head in resolving issues in an efficient manner

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
  • Relationship management skills with the ability to handle conflict and negotiations
  • Persuades and influences others through developed communication and diplomacy skills with colleagues in other areas
  • Very strong analytical skills and should be able to handle pressure
  • Strong meeting organization and facilitation skills
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Experience and ease of interfacing with Senior Management
  • Experience in business analytics and proven experience in people management
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management will be an added advantage
  • Need to be innovative, attentive and resourceful problem solving
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PPT and Word)
