Leading global communication and IT provider with operation offices in Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East & Africa, North America, South America, Australia and the Pacific Islands.

About the Role

  • Be responsible for monthly and off cycle payroll processing for APAC
  • Ensure timely and accurate end-to-end, on-cycle payroll process
  • Ensure appropriate documentation for operational process and procedures are in place and adhered to as part of operations
  • Confirm required controls are validated and cleared as part of routine payroll processing; raise any exceptions or discrepancies as related to application and business controls to management
  • Keep internal and external payroll processing documentation up to date (e.g., data collection templates, processing schedule, checklist, DTPs)
  • Complete and validate processes designed for control and compliance of payroll processing
  • Keep up to date on compliance for payroll procedures as per local regulations and company policies
  • Provide superior customer service to employees with questions relating to their payroll
  • Review, audit, reconcile and sign-off on monthly payroll

The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business required – Accounting Degree is helpful
  • At least 3-5 years in payroll processing for multiple business entities
  • Shared Service and Accounting experience is advantageous
  • Experience with ERP system is essential (Microsoft NAV preferred).
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with vendor payroll systems
  • Preferably with knowledge of income tax & HR regulations for APAC countries.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to interact with all levels of management and external parties.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Initiative, able to work independently with strong coordination and problem-solving skills
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
