Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £38,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Benefits: 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, overtime available
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our client in Salisbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and experienced professional to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance (PPMs) and inspections of mechanical equipment and systems (E.g. AHUs, Fire alarms, Motors)
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in a timely and efficient manner.
- Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to reduce the risk of breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve overall operational efficiency.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of maintenance procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field are preferred.
