    Responsibilities
    In this role as a MIG Welder in Brantford, you will be:
    - Obtaining materials for welding including jigs, fixtures, tables and skids.
    - Observe the best welding procedures to ensure quality and correct quantities.
    - Select the proper size of welding wire or electrodes to ensure correct welding.
    - Locate, acquire, and sets up weld wire and/or oxy acetylene gas bottles.
    - Ensure all appropriate guards and safety equipment are used.
    - Check work for any defects and correct as required.
    - Perform minor maintenance welding as required.
    - Complete required equipment checks prior to starting jobs.
    - Complete necessary time and production cards.
    - Make sure the work area is kept clean and orderly.

    Qualifications
    For this role as a MIG Welder in Brantford, you:
    - must have a CWB MIG ticket that is current and valid, and 6 months of MIG welding experience
    - able to read blueprints is an asset
    - must possess strong troubleshooting skills
    - able to lift up to 50 lbs
    - must have your own welding gear (metatarsal boots are recommended)
