To support the Professional development for curriculum advisors leading to Increased capacity of curriculum advisors and heads of department to support primary grade teachers in language and literacy. You'll develop for VSO and partner organisations a conceptual framework for curricular guidance, and advise on implementation of the framework. Based in Manica VSO office and Sofala HI office, providing technical support to update and revise curriculum for out-of-school girls (with disabilities), advise on appropriate teaching pedagogy, etc.; Portuguese-speaker preferred (Italian/Spanish acceptable)

1. Minimum of a Degree in Education/ Curriculum Planning/Development Studies or related fields; 2. Experience planning, designing, and delivering training for teachers and academic staff; 3. Experience in secondary-level curriculum design, development, and review; 4. In-depth understanding of economic and cultural barriers impacting girls’ education; 5. Have a good command of basic IT Skills especially Word and Excel; 6. Portuguese speaking skills a plus
