The finance team at DIA have been on a journey to improve the service to its stakeholders and to ensure that the customer is at the centre of everything they do. This was recognised early this year at the 2017 CFO Summit, where they were Finalists for the Finance team of the year award. To ensure that they can truly meet this ambition and stay up there as one of NZ's leading finance teams, the role of Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis has been created.

Taking a holistic approach, this role has a broad remit. Taking control of the medium and long term planning process, including the co-ordination of the Four Year plan as well as consolidation of the Department wide budgeting and forecasting.

Providing strategic advice to the CFO and Senior Leadership team is crucial to the success of this role. You will also take charge of high performing team with a highly analytical and diverse skills including, Data Analytics, Management Reporting as well as Asset Management.

We are looking for an exceptional leader with extensive Financial Planning and Analysis experience. You may have developed your experience within a large commercial environment and or within an overseas market where this skill set is well developed.

A strategic thinker, you will be able to simplify complex information for your stakeholders. Challenge assumptions and take a forward thinking approach to achieving outcomes that are critical to all of NZ!!
