Located in a growing township approximatley 70 kilometres north of Darwin, this school was oiginally established as a boys’ school, but has continued to evolved over time and is now offering a coeducational education for students from Year Seven to Year Thirteen.

Offering a broad curriculum including (English, Mathematics, Science, History), Health and Physical Education, Creative Arts (Music and Art) and Design and Technology (Woodwork and Food Technology) and Religious Education including both academic and vocational subjects to earn credits towards obtaining the Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (NTCET).

Partnering closely with the local community, this school is focused building a robust school nutrition program which aims at improving learning outcomes and employment opportunities. They also continue to focus on the training and development of local indigenous Assistant Teachers ensuring a strong foundation is established at school and returns to the local community. In addition, they are also faclitating a program which will create training and employment opportunities in the areas of Hospitality, Building and Construction.

As a HPE teacher you will provide a high level of teaching practices to assist each student to reach their full potential – academically, physically, culturally and socially. You will possess a Bachelor of Education, approved registration and working with childrens check to teach in the Northern Territory or the ability to complete, further to this you will also hold up to date first aid.

This contract or ongoing opportunity will suit an experience HPE teacher with at least 1 years classroom experience. You will be passionate about your specialisation and work with passion and energy. The sports and the outdoors such a key part of life in the NT you will be assured that your students will be eager to learn and work with you.
