    Vaccibody has extended its interests into allergy and autoimmunity, and we are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic experienced scientist to join our adventure - exploring the Vaccibody vaccine platform in the field of immune tolerance. You will contribute to innovation, pre-clinical discoveries, research, and development activities. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to play a central role in newly started projects developing antigen-specific vaccines within immune tolerance, and advance novel vaccine modalities. The ideal candidate has work experience from molecular biology and immunology, and holds a PhD degree or equivalent experience within autoimmunity / allergies and industrial experience.Key responsibilitiesTake on a senior strategic and mentory role for the immune tolerance work at VaccibodyTogether with other scientists initiate, plan and execute laboratory experiments for preclinical vaccine development for autoimmune diseases and allergiesPerform necessary experimental analysis and write reportsEstablish / develop new laboratory methods within immune toleranceBe an senior contributor in cross-functional project teams internally and / or externallyCell line culturing and in vitro assays to validate the vaccine proteins (ELISA, Western blot)Primary cell culturing and immunoassays to validate vaccine effects (ELISpot, cytotoxicity, ELISA, flow cytometry, multiplex)Establish / develop mouse models for autoimmune diseases and allergiesCommunicate data internally / externally (both written and oral)Write and revise WINs, SOPs or other documents according to our Quality Management SystemWho are we looking for?When hiring new employees, we look for the individuals who we think would be a good fit with our collaborative and inclusive company culture, and have qualifications that complement existing ones within the Immune Tolerance team.
