I’m looking for an Operations Manager with experience in the gig economy, ride-hailing, delivery, or digital tech services to join a fast-growing tech company that’s expanding its footprint in Romania. This role is key to scaling daily operations, enhancing service quality, and driving engagement in a dynamic, app-based business environment.
Manage and supervise daily operational activities ensuring smooth delivery of services to drivers, couriers, and clients;
Develop and execute strategies to improve driver engagement, increase retention rates, and meet financial targets;
Use data analytics to monitor operations and inform decision-making aligned with market trends and business goals;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and headquarters to ensure alignment and support expansion initiatives;
Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, managing expectations and resolving operational challenges;
Lead, motivate, and develop the local operations team to achieve performance goals;
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field;
Minimum 3 years’ experience in operations management, preferably within gig economy, ride-hailing, delivery, or logistics industries in a tech/app environment;
Proven ability to scale operations and improve efficiency and profitability;
Strong leadership and team management skills;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach;
Experience managing stakeholders and partnerships;
Fluent in English and Romanian (written and spoken);
Passionate about modern technologies and smart city solutions;
Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills;
Positive attitude, collaborative mindset, and resilience.
